Default Carbon fiber drive shaft question

While in the boneyard with my pal I found in the back of a pickup a carbon fiber drive shaft.

Did they come stock in GM trucks?

Will they retrofit into 4th gen F-bodies?

Attached is a picture of the partial sticker that was on the driveshaft with the last portion of the part number if that helps.

So, another junk-yard junkie like me I can't answer your question about the trucks, sorry
I hit up my local pick-a-part once a month if not more. I find all kinds of stuff.
Full set of snap-on impact sockets last week!
If any of y'all have access to a pick-a-part or pull your own type yard look though the cars you might get lucky.

As far as the shaft, well, look and see

I'd like to see a pic of the shaft where the yoke attaches - I'm sure the shaft is too long but maybe it can be shortened ?

I plan on heading back to the boneyard tomorrow with tape measure & camera in hand.

Does anyone have the length, where ever it's actually measured from, & diameter of a 4th gen driveshaft handy?

This'd be a sweet find if it did fit my car.

Here's a link to some pics I took today of the driveshaft: http://home.comcast.net/~ta2000/cf_shaft.html

I hope someone knows if it'll fit as the yard only wants $50 for it!
