auto or M6? its a toss up with the M6, it might last...it might break |
i have the same ?...im at about 340 rwhp and im interested in a lil stickier of a tire but im an m6 and dont have the money till summer for a 9 inch should i just stick with street tires? |
yes im also a m6 im really wanting to slap on some nitto's.. they look great and hook great.. and i just really think nitto's great lol |
I have run them for years on the street. They are fine. Slow down a little in the rain and you'll be OK. I run ET Drags at the track. Nittos won't hold. Oh to avoid breeaking axels upgrade to a 12 bolt or 9" |

nittos will break a 10 bolt, get a 12 or 9,and be carefull in the rain on nittos, the can get tricky |
You'll be fine on the street with some nittos on back. Just don't heat them up and do a 5K rpm clutch dump and you'll be ok. I've been running on nittos (second set now) for a little over two years now and haven't broken anything on the street yet. At the track on BFG's is another story... |
My Nittos heat cycled/hardened up so much from daily use that I think I'd have a better chance of breaking my 10 bolt on a good street tire, especially in the cold weather! This is even with weaker 4.10 gears. You should be fine, as long as you don't heat them up much in the street, as stated above. |
I have the 315 nittos witha 12 bolt and hook well............well, I pretty much have every mod available int the Drivetrain/suspension. I will roast stock tires......had to go with the DRs for traction.....wet is kinda bad though. |
