can we use synthetic tranny fluid in our 6 speeds? or does it swell the sychro's and makes it harder shifting, i have heard pro's and con's. what is the right answer? thanx <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">

Re: can we use synthetic tranny fluid in our 6 speeds? or After I put in Mobil 1 ATF in my 98 Formula it started grinding the 1-2 shift at high rpms when the fluid was cold (which meant if my car sat even a half hour between runs at the track, it grinded)

Re: can we use synthetic tranny fluid in our 6 speeds? or I think that from what I've read on the boards that synthetic is too slick for our M6s. The only synthetic people seem to like is Honda ATF.

Re: can we use synthetic tranny fluid in our 6 speeds? or Synthetic is fine for our M6's, just as long as its Mobil 1, or REDLINE's D4ATF. You shouldnt use REDLINE's M6 tranny fluid, because that is too slick.
