Re: 410's

4.10s are very nice on M6 cars. Just don't put slicks on it. I've seen the remains of a pinion. Not one tooth remained. 12 bolt with that combo. Or don't ever run slicks.

Clemens Mi and he said the real problem comes in with the pinion with wheel hop. That's when the pinion gear strips. With the new BRM LCA's and I really haven't had bad wheel hop, do you think going to the track 2 or 3 times a year is going to be a problem with putting 4:10's in.

That pinion I saw was from the first run. I don't want to tell you it's safe and have you ruin your rear end. Find out from some M6 guys that run 4.10s. They should know the best.

A buddy of mine broke his 10bolt (4.10s) on street tires with STOCK horsepower. He beats on his car pretty hard though. I wouldn't run anything more than Nitto's.

Save your money for the 12 bolt.
The gears rock, but too thin in a 10bolt. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
