I want to change the gears on my car to some 4.10s . I just dont want any Richmonds I heard that they were to noisy. Im planning not to do any more mods to my car but Im not sure if I want to squeez or not besides that Im not going to do any more mods. Please let me know some good brands I dont want any weak stuff. I dont care about gas I just want to go fast. Thanks

I heard the AAM gears are one of the best. They pretty much took over GM's factories for the gears and modified them a little to make them stronger or whatever. I have mine waiting at home to be put in. about 185 bucks a set.

AAM is good stuff. SLP's may be made by AAM.

I like my Precision Gear 3.73's. They've held up to ALOT of abuse, wheel hop and all.

This on a stock 10-bolt with over 200 passes, BTW...

They are a little noisy, but not near as bad as Richmond.

i have been told GM are the best i have a set of 4.10's in my 10 bolt and 0 noise nothing quiet as stock i had a guy at thunder racing comment on how quiet they were when he testdrove it after the recalb.on the speedo and he drives a ton of them day in day out but i don't know how they compare on strength guess it depends on what you want them for but in the 10 bolt nothing is going to take much abuse with a m6 and i think they cost a little more i had a local guy do the gear swap and he charged $700 for parts and labor.(yeah i got screwed)lol good luck

Do the same "best gear brand" rules apply to a Moser 9" rear for what is quiet and strong?

I want to get 3.73's too, and was torn in between Motive/Strange gears. I will probably stick with Richmond gears though.
