You will need someone to flash the computer for you to recalibrate the speedometer.

75w90 or 80w90 take your pick. If you have an auburn differntial don't forget the limited slip lubrication. Drive on the gears for a short trip. Let the car set and fully cool. Repeat a few times. Go easy on the gears for the first 500 miles or so and let her rip.

this man is wise. i couldn't wait 500 miles though and only broke it in for 350miles. i did heat cylcle them (drove 50 kmiles then let cool down, and repeated) for the first 150 miles. my yukon gears in my 10 bolt were very noisey but they were set up right. luckily i don't have to deal with it anymore cuz i'm sportin a strange 60--if you bust your stock 10 bolt, don't do what i did and waste money on fixing it

no? why not
i took a guy for a drive who was thinking about getting 3.73s in his 6 speed 02 SS in my dad's firehawk that has 4.30s. he loved it, he said he never would've gone 4.10s til he rode in it.
i don't think you've experienced it yet either. 60mph is still 1800 rpms with 4.30s btw

Yeah. You would have to have someone who has the appropriate software to change the gears in the computer for you.

A lot of people change the oil after 500 miles. It's not a bad idea - that way you can check out the fluid and see how the rear is holding up.
