Default GM 7.5" gears vs. Ford 8.8" gears

This means nothing, but I thought some of you might like to see the actual size difference between the two............. I bought a new set of Motive 3.73's to put in my Formula until I get a 12 bolt or 9", but after seeing how small they are compared to regular Ford 8.8" gears I think these 3.73's are now for sale......

What was GM thinking?
