4.10's??? I have a 12bolt, 3.73 gears, true trac 33 spline, 3 series. i am wanting to go to a 4.10, but am having a hard time finding the gears that will fit. does anyone know what gear i can go with? wanna stay away from richmond. |
Hey there I returned your PM. But if anyone else cares I got Yukon 4.10s. I have heard of them before but never see too many people using them. I am going to be the guinea pig and find out if that is because a) few people sell them or b) the gears suck. Hopefully not the latter! They seem great so far, I will report back after going to the track tonight. Thunderracing sells Strange 4.11's for a 12 bolt. PM Exotic Performance Plus or Scott@drivelinesolutions, those guys should be able to get you what you want. |
i tried strange. they are on back order till october |
reply Call Randy's Ring and Pinion or check out their website. They will have what ever brand you want. |

Hmmm, how familiar is this? I want to put in a set of 3.73's in my 12 bolt. The 3.73's I want for my 4-series (4.11 in there now) carrier are on b/o until October also. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. The reason you can't find the 4.11's you want is because it's a wider 4.11 for the 3-series carrier. Nobody seems to want to stock them. The only other option you have is to buy a new 4-series posi unit for $4xx and get the standard 4-series gear for it. :bang: |
Randys ring & pinion has always had what i needed. |
