replacing a posi unit? i've had this whomping type noise coming from my rear for a year now and i've just had the rear wheel bearings replaced and that didnt do the job. it seems like the noise is coming from inside the diff and i had a shop diagnose it as a bad posi.
what's involved with installing a posi by myself? any kind of special tools needed?
