How many DD with a spool ?????

Thinking about running a spool instead in my new rear, is it ok for a DD, or does it just come down to what one can stand .

I've driven quite a few cars on the road with spools in them. I wouldn't do it if you have to parallel park all the time, but other than that I wouldn't have a problem with it. I'll be going with a spool this year in my own Z28. Bob

The only time I ever notice mine is in tight turns. Like in parking lots. What rear are you getting?

I just drove a customer's car home last night that we just swapped out the Detroit Locker for a spool. We want to put some miles on this car to make sure everything is sorted out. This car is so much more driveable now with the spool. The locker use to cause the rear to wiggle, which would be alarming until you got use to it. Bob

spools are fine, they arent exactly perfectly street able, but if you park crooked on a hill and you forgot your e brake the car stays still. lol the worse part about a spool is pushing the car.
