Default Those of you who used to have 2.73's

Ok I am trying to convince myself that when I do my 3.42 swap that i'll travel slower on the highway to keep my rpm's down. I cruise now at like 80 and with those gears I'd be a little above 60 at the same rpm I think.

Is this a reasonable assumption? Or do you guys not care and still do 80 at like 2700 or so?

At 70 mph I am turning 3200 RPM and it doesn't bother me one bit

is that in OD or D, b.c i plan on getting 3.73s since i hate my 2.73s in the near future and am wondering what my RPMs will be at 70 MPH.

Sorry that is in drive. Overdrive is about 500-600 RPM less. The 2.73s aren't bad gears at all; my Z ran the time in the sig on 2.73s. If you plan on getting a stall and run TRUE street tires you won't get any traction going less than 35 mph on the street.
