I use Redline 75-90W in my 10-bolt with the Zexel/Torsen. The Redline comes in two varieties: one with additive, one without. Since the Zexel doesn't use clutches you really shouldn't need the additive, but some say that it helps to quiet the gears so I went with the version with additive.

I love AMSOIL severe gear oil. I run the 80w 90 fully synthetic. It is far better than anything else in my opinion. All of the top boat builders(high horespower boats) use this in the lower units. They spin thousands of times more than a car rear end and still hold up with little heat. Sometimes its hard to find and sometimes its pretty high.

...so anyway, I put in the AMSOIL stuff (spent ~$50 for diff fluid ) and sure enough, about ~3 months later I blew the 4.10's and got to watch $50 pour into the drain pan when I pulled the cover off .
Until I have a 12-bolt, I'm never spending that much money on diff fluid again!!! Regular 75W90 for me.
