Default Did I hurt my rear end?

I had to drive about 2 miles with a spare on the back. Did this damage my posi by having the smaller wheel on one side? I know it was a short distance but I just want to make sure. I havent gotten the tire fixed so I cant go and test it out right now. What do you think?

I am hearing a knocking/tapping sound that is relative to my speed. I have heard this noise before (also on my moms TA) but it was not this loud. If I slow to a stop, the noise is apparent. It also does not make any difference when brakes are not applied.

I am gonna test the posi out tomorrow to see if it lays two black stripes still. If it doesnt, I will **** a brick. This damn pothole incodent has already cost me 2 of my wheels and tires. Now maybe even my rear.

Any ideas what this tapping/knocking noise is?

PROBLEM SOLVED!!! For some reason the retards at the tire shop installed the wrong size tire on the rear wheels. They put on 245/40-17's. The tire was obviously "shorter" than the correct size tires. With the smaller diameter tires on, the rear end made this knocking noise. With the correct size tires on now, the rear is back to normal. This does not make any sense to me, can anyone explain why smaller tires would make this noise?

The different size tires wouldn't make a difference in noise, as long as they were both the same size. Maybe they had screwed something up when they installed/uninstalled the wheels and it just happened to make a noise..

Wierd, I was the one who installed the wheels on the car the first time (with the wrong size tires). And it made noise. Oh well, the noise is gone and that is all that matters.

See, you fucked it up just kidding. You're right...it's gone, who cares. Enjoy.
