3.73's on my 2000 SS
does a three series carrier work on a camaro ss automatic with traction control or is it a two series?

Series depends on gear, channel depends on abs/tcs options.
2 series = 2.73 cars. 3 series = 3.23, 3.42 cars. The only time series comes into play is when you are trying to order new gears for your car. If you want 3.73s and your car came with 2.73s, you need 2 series gears. If you want 3.73s and your car came with 3.23s, you need 3 series gears.
Putting a three channel rear end into a four channel car requires you adding reluctor rings & traction control sensors to both axles.

Go ahead and put 4.10's in it, I went from 3.23 to 4.10. I'm glad I did it made a huge difference.

you have an SS so you have 3.23 if its an Auto and 3.42 if it is a M6 so either way its a 3 carrier
