Gear Swap 98 A4
 

Ok....i thought I was starting to understand what I needed to go from 2.73's to 3.73's until I talked to someone from SLP and now I am totally confused. I DO KNOW I have 2.73's (2 series carrier obviously) and 4 channel rearend (ABS with TC)...my question is can somebody please list exactly what I need to change my gears to 3.73's.....such as install kit, reluctor ring????, etc. I also understand that I will need to purchase a programmer to compensate for the gear change. Thanks

You just need 3.73s for a 2 series rear end. That is all. And then your obvious stuff like an install kit, fluid, tools, reprogramming the speedo.

Simple enough......Thunder Racing has the 3.73's for 2 series for $225.00, complete installation kit for $94.99, and Solid Pinion Spacer (Crush Collar) w/ shim kit for $18.99. Thanks alot..
