Question about 3.73's

If your PCM is updated for 3.73 gears and you run 3.42's for a while- would that create any problems other than speedo being off?

Shift points will be off...especially at WOT.

My car is a M6- does that still cause problems?

i never hade a problem but i hade 3.73 and my computer was still tuned for 3.42 in my m6. as far as performance goes, i did NOT make any gain going from 3.42 to 3.73, it was a waist. go with the 4.10 i've seen people gain 3 to 4 tenths with them and you better get some nitto drags, soon ill be installing 4.10's in my ride. good luck.

No probs other than the speedo. Also, it definately is an improvement over the 3.42s. People with enough track time know it!!
