Any body know if motive gears are as strong or well made as richmond?
I'm looking to put a 390 in my camaro, do alot of highway so can't go any lower than that. only prob is richmond doesn't make a 390 but motive does. I've never used motive before and was wondering if anyone has and how good and quiet are they? Thanks for any help you can give, Grant

Mine were also dead silent till the end after about 50-75 1/8 mile passes on drag radials and beating it on the street they finally snapped. Lasted longer than i thought. Good gears for sure

Had Richmond 3.73 in my 99 ta for short time. Professionally set up and installed I was watching the whole time. They whine super bad unbearable and Richmond basically did zip.
Guy that installed them took them for his own car and they broke on first track pass didn't even get a timeslip but his lt1 was supercharged so probably putting out 400 to 500 hp engine. Still they say they are strong...don't believe it but they sure are f##king loud.
I had motive gm in my 97 lt1..dead quiet..4.10 but moved them to my 99 ta..also pro installed and setup and they whined bad. I was forced to go back to stock 3.42s. They are quiet..but boring!
