Default building a 9" and have a couple ?s

when it comes to spline count, more or less? which is better and why? also, where can i get axles for our wheel bolt pattern? the 9" i have is out of a 73 mach 1, so my wheels wont bolt up.
and befor anyone mentions the T/A mounts, its gone so it doesnt matter

More spline generally means a stronger axle. The diameter increases with the spline also, making them stronger. Moser, Currie, Strange, Superior, etc all make aftermarket axles with the proper spline and bolt pattern.

opposite of what i thought. i thought less splines means they would be bigger and stronger. but since the diameter increases with splines, that makes more sense

Interesting I've never seen anyone use those. I'm curious how well that would work, it changes the instant center a lot compared to even a short torque arm.

Are you sure that this system will fit your 9". The tubes are a different diameter. You must be welding spring perches, shock attachment and LCA brackets on that will fit our cars... as I assume a 73 car had leaf springs. Is the width even correct?

You are aware that those like to break right? I've read of lots of guys having those break on them.
