Default Posi or Detroit Locker?

With a 540 BBC say around 600 hp, will the truetrac hold hold up? Is there a better posi? If not, I could get a Detroit Locker. Rear end will be either a 9 inch or a Dana 60.

Why not use a spool?

With that kind of power, I dont see you driving it cross country, I would just spool it and be done with it.

I'm going to use it as a daily driver so I'm not sure a spool will be the way to go.

If your hardcore enough to drive a 600 HP BBC everyday then your hardcore enough for a spool.

Which is easier to replace, posi units or tires?

tru-trac is rated at 600hp I think. I love mine. Just feels right when you spin em up.

With the torque your engine should be producing, I also would go with a spool. Bob
