Default Polished/Lightened 9" gears?

Who makes polished and lightened gear sets for a 9"? I am looking for a 4.11:1 ratio. I have been trying to look without much luck. This would be a street/strip gear.

motive offers back cut ring and pinions I belive its the AX series I could be wrong... The surface treatment you see in REM its a tumbling process... These would double the cost of the ring and pinion. I think these options would be over kill on a street strip car but what ever floats your boat.Tex Racing has these sets in any brand or ratio you can imagine...

You can buy Motive AX gears with a Micro Polish also from the factory.

If you look at the right side column it mentions the Micro Polish.

Thanks for the info guys. I just figured if I am going to go in there, then get some light weight stuff. I can get some deals on them so thats why I am not too concerned with it. If you advise against it for any mechanical reasons, please let me know.

I have a lot of stuff that is over kill I guess, but I would rather that than push the limits

The AX gears start with a light weight blank and then are machined and heat treated instead of machining the weight out at the end. They are designed from the start to be light weight so there is no measurable strength loss.
