Default What u-joints do I need?

i was told to go to napa and get a new u-joint for my driveshaft since it is probably worn out and causing some problems. which one do i need? is there more than one, like a kit? it sounds like the problem is coming from where the driveshaft connects to the rear axle. haven't heard anything from the front of the driveshaft, but if there is something i can upgrade there then i'd like to know as well!

just go to napa and ask for a new rear u joint for your car. its that easy, they come with everything except the press you might need to get the old one out. you cant upgrade unless you get a larger driveshaft and/or yoke.

If your going to change one then go ahead and do both at the same time. This will save you from having to do it later.
It just makes sense since the DS will be out anyway and its cheap insurance so you have peace of mind knowing both Ujoints were replaced.

Take it from me, tossing a driveshaft is no fun.

I'd change both of them out at the same time as well. Bob
