Broken RAM 402/6130 setup

Broken RAM 402/6130 setup While driving home today I powershifted second,brought it up to 6400 and went to shift and the shifter would not move.DOH got it out of gear and coasted a while trying to get it in any gear.stopped and checked tranny.Gears engaging fine.Start it in first and car hops to go.Feels like the clutch plate is broken or the disk is siezed to the flywheel.I'll find out this weekend.
Anyone else have this problem?
P.S the master/slave is working fine.

Re: Broken RAM 402/6130 setup Pulled it apart tonight and found the Disk stuck to the flywheel,took a hit with the sledge to unstick it.For only 2k miles on the car the clutch looked pretty beat.Guess it's time for a new clutch <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Re: Broken RAM 402/6130 setup Sounds like what my stocker is doing to me now. I havn't got on it hard lately and the other day i start it up and try to put it in gear, it wouldn't go into any gear. So i turned the car off put it in gear and when i started it the starter was actually inching the car forward, but the clutch engages and disengages like it use to. BTW I had a real funny noise the time i started the car up before it stuck, and when i started it in first. Sounded like the disks were stuck to the flywheel. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: Broken RAM 402/6130 setup When I spoke with RAM, they recommended the 900 series iron disk.. they said that the bronze one, 6000 series could melt to the flywheel under extreme conditions. I guess the iron tolerates the heat better... sorry about your meltdown
