Should I go with 3.73's?

I'm thinking about probably going with a Moser 12 bolt. I have stock 3.23's in now and was just wondering how much it would help if I went to 3.73's. I'm curretnly running a 3200 stall and spraying a 125 dry shot off the line w/ ET Streets. Cuting 1.61 60's. But I know I can get down to 1.59's with a little more practice and longer burnout. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> So will 3.73's help my 60's and/or ET's? Guess I should ask too, do I need the 12 bolt or can I just put 3.73's in my stock rear end and have it last longer then one pass, hehe.

Calley,

I had 3:73s in my stock 10 bolt, they lasted exactly 7 passes on the bottle, my 12 bolt is on it's way here now.

lots of guys (like me) have them last for a long time! Even with 3.73's/DR's/stall etc. 12 bolts are BIG BUX! You can replace/rebuild lots of 10 bolts for that price. But like i said you shouldnt have to worry bout it

3.73s will be good another .1 & 1 mph NA. You need to be careful that you don't run out of rpm spraying 3.73s on a stock rev limiter (allow several hundred rpm of converter slip unless you lock it up).

3.42s and a 150 shot would be a nice combo on stock cam motor.

I put my rev limiter at 6400. Would I have to adjust my shift points? I'm currently at +3 1-2, +2 2-3, +0 3-4.
