crossthreaded bolt that you fill on 9inch _shortend version_
just finished doing some work on my 9inch,filled up the rearend fluid and crossthreaded the bolt.
whats the best fix?
drill and tap?

I'd first just retap the hole. Just take the pipe tap a little farther than what Moser did, but not too far. Chances are you did not cross thread the hole too far in there. Use a new bolt once you have retapped the hole. Use grease on the tap to collect any shvings that may result from cleaning up the threads. Bob
