9" rear launching technique..
Just wondering how you guys launch your cars with a 9" diff..........
I just put mine on and still breaking it in so I havnt had a chance to practice.
I'm going to be running at the track with a set of Mickey Thompsons... and have an LS7 clutch......
What would you recommend?
Dropping the clutch at 6k rpms? Feathering? etc.etc.
thanks

i would be nice to cut a good 60 on slicks these 1.9's and i mean high 1.9s are killing me and yes i had some 2.0+ in there to my best was a 1.897 (and that was pre tune ls6 im and tb)
i think a mid 1.7 would be ideal for me

im at 13psi on stock rimmed DOT slicks on a stock 4.10d rear cutting a 1.83 slipping the clutch at 3k, 20+psi is too high, you'll just spin... i just got my moser 9" and whole rear chassis and am planning to use the same stock rimmed DOTs, ill start at a 4k slip and 13psi again, we'll see.

I also have a 9" and I have been having some serious issues with traction. I tried dumping it at like 1700 and it bogs, so I tried like 2500 and it wheel hops really bad. I have an adjustable torque arm, and it is set at -1.5. Does anybody know what I need to do to fix this problem!? Does it need to be set at a different degree? Do I need the relocation brackets? the best I've run with the 9" is 1.89. ...not to proud lol.
thanks guys!

If I was to take a wild guess as to the tires you were running, I would say Nittos...am I right?
