4.10's at most! Unless you got a really tall tire! I think 3.90's are the best so you dont have to run a taller tire and shift into 5th b4 the finish line you can hold 4th and thats what you want

He will be fine, with the cam, he si going to rev higher at the finish line, as long as he doesnt exceed 130 mph (at 7k) then he doesnt need to move up from the 26" tire.
As for gearing, due to a Fbody t-56's tall 1st gear and the marshmellow aspect of the cam in the low end, 4.10's is ideal. What would be more ideal would be the same cam and gears and swap in a GTO tranny, now that would cut some killer ET's

4.10s 4th gear max is 116-120 depending on your revlimiter. Im a cam only car pulling 118 om 1/4 mile so if i throw heads on my car i would have to get a taller tire or drop down to 3.90's gears.

@ 6000 rpm rev limter, 26" tall tire, 4th gear 1:1 max rpm is 113mph
@ 7000 rpm rev limter, 26" tall tire, 4th gear 1:1 max rpm is 130mph

My best bud does 117.5 in the 1/4 cam only and has no issues with the limiter, because it was turned up. on a 245/50-16 nitto.

That is that accurate! Because i have 3.43's right now and it only pulled 145mph on the revlimiter! It says 152mph with those gears at 6800 rpms And my 3rd gear pulls 110mph and it says 117mph so it is about 7mph fast! I have checked what my car pulls gear to gear with hp tuners and on the dyno and what my car dose is 7mph slower then that site shows

Raising the rev limiter sounds great, but you want the car to go through the lights right around your shift point. Whether it is 5600 or 6800 doesn't matter, you need to keep the rpm in your power band, over revving the car too long will cause you to lose performance.
4.10's with your application and performance levels at this point will work great.
