Default gear swap

I'm putting a 4.10 gear in my 10 bolt and I want to upgrade all the supporting parts. I was wandering if it's worthwhile to upgrade the universals in the driveshaft. I am getting a loop. Also, should I put hardened axles in while I have it down. I'm going to see some strip duty with street slicks. I want it to hold up to atleast 5-10 good hard passes.

why waste your money? Save for a new 9" You'll be a third of the way there in getting it after the gear swap.
