I ordered it early feburary and he gave me a march 5th delivery date approx. I think he has gotten a little overloaded I still haven't had a charge to my credit card which means I'm not even up yet....
But your getting a similar piece to the fab 9 for a grand less so you can't really complain just getting a little impatient I'm actually pretty worried about the crossmember and my Kooks. I really need the setup done by april 20th.... so at this point if there is a problem I'm pretty much screwed.

If you go with the transmission crossmember mounted torque arm, these are pieces that Eric includes with the base package that with other "conventional" designs you'd have to buy separately:
Torque Arm Relocation Crossmember: $255
Chromemoly Adjustable Torque Arm: $470
LCA Relocation Brackets (weld on): $60
So basically, the complete rear end only is about $1800 - shipped. Hell, you can't even find a used 12 bolt for that.

Eric is pretty much a one man shop with the occasional helper. I talked to him Wednesday and he's still trying to a high quality helper. He's turning out 3-4 rearends a week and told me he needs to get 6-7 out a week to get caught up. Eventually he'd like to have at least 3-4 in stock for so he can ship them straight out. He does great work so to me it's worth the wait.

It's not a necessity to have the rear right now (not a daily driver), so I can afford to wait.

yes, i think you did... you can tell by the width of the faceplate. the original ones are modified chassis car housings(meant for 4 link rearends) and are 17 inches wide. the new ones are almost 4 inches wider. there are small differences between the two like that, but they are basically the same thing.

I stopped by his shop yesterday to pick up a th400 trans mount and get my driveshaft ordered. Looked like he was welding one up. He's extremely busy. I can't believe all the cars he's got in that shop of his. The trans mount was top notch. Thanks again Erik

still lurking around these threads... i hate my 12 bolt but i'm not sure how this will work with my setup since i'm lowered and don't drag race much, just want something stronger than a 10 bolt that won't affect handling too much. anyone else using this rear for mostly street use?
