the drag anti-rollbar option is a great addition to the rearend package if anyone is looking for optimum drag strip performance, and is streetable for the most part. it is constructed from the exact same materials we use on the 200mph top sportsman cars and is a huge weight savings over most of the other "extreme" arb's out there. it is a direct bolt-on to our ever popular fabricated 9 inch, Moser's 9 inch, stock 10 bolt, 12 bolts, and even the S60! the tube design varies a bit but all bolt to any rearend with stock style brackets in place. we include a set of either weld-on tabs to go to the back of the frame rail or we will have ones available to bolt to the stock location for a 100% true bolt-in setup.

Add another owner to the list. Got one with 35 spline full spool and 4.11's coming. Its a long wait but after seeing the weight and other issues with the other 9's its worth the wait. Will post pics before and after install.

The anti roll bar is the weldin version better?

the weld-in version does have a slightly lighter weight bracket that attaches at the frame and it is a real easy install. once the bracket is attached to the frame the arb becomes a full bolt-in. there is never any welding required on the rearend because we install the sway bar brackets on all of our rearends at no extra charge.

what are the benifits of a rear sway bar of that design on a daily driver as compared to something like bmr's xtreme rear sway bar? mwc's bar looks like a stronger set up maybe

i'm not sure there is much of a "strength" difference as the BMR, UMI, Spohn, etc type solid bars do work. only drawbacks i see with that design vs our tubular chromemoly style is the reaction time(a bent bar & arms will be slower than a straight tube and straight arms), and the biggest fact is our design is 19 pounds lighter! we also use a double shear type(brackets on both sides of the heim joint) mounting setup where the solid type bars use a heavy plate with a 5/8" bolt welded to it with no outer support. this is a point where flex will happen.

FYI.....
I piloted another Midwest Chassis Fab 9 equipped Trans Am to a 1.29 sixty foot on its way to a 8.84 pass a couple of weeks ago. Low 1.30's are the norm.
Running a MWC 9", spool, 35 spline, 3.0 gears, MWC ARB, and short torque arm with double AFCO's all the way around.
Still setting everything up, and we expect 1.15-1.20 60 fts. when everything is dialed in. Street car.

I will be continuing to run the MWC 9" and long torque arm, LCA's etc.. on my personal outlaw radial car. Gunning for sub 7 second passes in that car.

Are these rears good for a full street car? I'm trying to set mine up to handle well and also have a drivline that'll hold high hp.

They would be fine on the street. You could go with a watts link rather than a panhard bar.
