I agree pictures would be very helpful but I don't have a camera. Would there be any identifiers on the rear end for me to look for. Thanks

I am pretty sure the moser uses 4 bolts for the torque arm where as strange uses 2. If I am mistaken its cause I have been studying all night and need to go sleep

yeah found this on umi's site, so I am not tripping

Rear Torque Arm Hardware Kit- We highly recommend purchasing a new hardware kit if running this torque arm on a stock rear, Strange or other similar rear-ends that use a straight through bolt design. OEM torque arm bolts will work however are slightly too short and may not fit correctly. If you are running a Moser Engineering 12-Bolt rear-end this kit is not needed, you must reuse hardware supplied by Moser Engineering. New hardware kit will work on Moser Engineering 9" rear ends.

thats probably the easiest way to know, if its not a strange or moser I have no idea, how else to tell
might be a currie rear???

Another way to tell is by the axle shafts. Typically they are stamped or have a decal on the axles.

I had to stick on my moser decals myself. So its possible whoever put in the 12 bolt may have not put them on. just saying that they are not put on always and are not stamped on either
