Will 4:10's hurt?
 

I have been contemplating going to 4:10's. I have just minor bolt-on's. Do I need to change the whole rearend or can I just change the gears? Am I going to break anything by just changing the gears? Also, what is it going to do to my top end? One more thing, is it going to make 6th gear a litle more usable? As it is now, 6th is useless.

i think 6th gear being useless is the point. I use it for gas mileage cruisin thats about it. Just go buy a set of 4.10's from a sponsor to right -------> and find a local store to install them if u are inexperienced. You dont need a whole new rear end. The 4.10's will really wake up your car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
