Gears throw off Odometer?

Gears throw off Odometer? I switched out my gears to 3.73s from 3.42s. I have a warrenty that runs out in 36000 miles or 3 years. Since the gears throw off the speedo doesnt that also throw off the odometer? Whats the cheapest and easiest way to correct for the gears?
