finally got a test drive.
 

i went today to check out a new camaro. i test drove an m6 since thats what id buy. interior is nice overall. seats are comfortable. clutch feels right. shifter is precise. brakes are excellent. i had to use them while i was opening it up and there was a cop running radar. me and the salesmen amost shit. for a heavy car is doesnt feel heavy. it has plenty of power to get that car going. steering feels a little light but responsive.


a couple minor things. the hood is huge. a little hard to see over but i got used to it. theres parts of the dash that look cheap. no big deal. the stereo looks weird with its buttons bulging out. WTF designed that? engine cover looks cheap too. perhaps getting a color match option would help?

overall its a great car. 9/10.


too bad my trade in value on my GTO is garbage and this dealer isnt discounting so i wont be buying one for now. :(

It is a good car. Just take your time, and save more along the way. You will have one soon I bet.:D

Painting the engine cover is a night and day difference. They look cheap stock.

If you're not too tall, raise the seat up. My wife had problems with the hood till she raised the seat. Now she's hell on wheels and I have to hide the keys.

the hood is huge but there is so much room to work under the hood. way better than a 4th gen
