isnt this ls1 tech? cause i got a question it seams like every time i turn around you people are talking about the new gt mustang and v6. there is more talk aboit it on this site than svt site. just curious since thats all i been seeing latley, it seems like most of you been

I'm glad the common run of the mill Gt will finally have some *****. I always felt like Ford was screwing the masses. Maybe everyone is talking about it due to the fact it might actually be a challenge for once, Gt owners will finally have a fighting chance.

Amen, bring it! I'll be lining up with some punk kid that just picked up a 2010 GT500 hopefully this weekend... I think he might be a little surprised to hear the thumpity thump from the cam. I tried telling him he didn't know what he was getting up against but he wouldn't listen. Haha, oh well, at least I'll be able to give him a nice rear veiw of my car!

What kinda numbers are you making with the cam and what are the specs?

Haha, I'll see if I can get vids. She's pushing 475 RWHP, cam is a .647 .608 with 235 240 on a 111. Punk kid heard I had an SS, and he wants a piece. I even tried to tell him I had work done but he wasn't hearing it. Boasting about his 540 flywheel hp. Then he killed it when he pulled away. Twice. Hahaha...

yeah my car is slow, but it does pretty good for not having anymore than 10k in it, including purchase price of the car. dont get all butt hurt that the new GT is gonna put hurting on the all mighty SS.

As said before, it will be a drivers race stock for stock. And as far as mods go, the SS will win hands down. The Mustang has been in the Camaro's trail of dust for many many years and it's not going to change now.

A new model (especially one with such significant changes) is always big talk. I'm really not sure what the purpose of you posting this thread was? Go to SvtPerformance.com and you will see tons of threads about GM and their new cars that get released.
