Default Newbie. Questions on what to get.

I was looking at the new SS and I was wondering if I should hold out for the Z28 that is supposedly coming out sometime soon. Would that be a good decision on my part or should I get the SS that I've wanted? I also don't know what's what in the new camaro. Any new suggestions would be appreciated. I had a 96 Z28 that I sold a few months ago. As soon as I get off deployment I'm going to the dealer. Please let me know.

new z28 might be as low as 40k or as high as like 60k.....For that scratch you might be more interested in a vette or cts-v. It might not even come out by 2012 anyway.

ss is "cheap" and awesome. Mustang is pretty great, but I'd just feel dirty owning one.

Pick your price range and get the best car in that range.

The only mustang I would ever own is the 64 1/2. That's it.

You're talking about an approximately $30-$35k SS vs a hypothetical $50k Z28. Gotta determine how much you want to spend. I'm going to assume that a $50k Z28 is not in your best interest.

50 is a bit steep. But it's an icon.

And a mortgage is considered the American Dream. I suppose it depends on what is more important. If you want something now, get the SS and enjoy driving around (while also putting money in the bank).

Yeah I guess that would work. I do have some plans for the SS if I got one.

It would be cheaper to get a SS and bolt on a blower than wait for the Z-28 or u can get a SLP SS which is already out but is not cheap.U can see them on there web site.

Just go for the SS. The Z/28 was not officially given a release date.
