true^... I really love the '03 - '04 cobra... I think they will hold more value than the 2010 camaro... I also think the new camaro looks like a 1987 Monte carlo ss but thats my opinion...

even a die hard GM fan can't deny the 03-04 Cobras have the highest performance Per dollar out there. Once you have the fragile rear diff protected (or replaced with a solid 8.8") the sky is the limit.

SS gets my vote. I had an 03 Cobra that made 480/512 and was a great car but I did not like the torque, it would hit 500 at like 2500 and be flat. Wasn't very friendly from a dig it you get my drift. Now if you into smoking the tires for around a 1000 feet then go for it! lol

Touching another subject....I am GM all the way but you just have to admit right now that we just got our asses handed to us by ford....I have looked for every excuse not to say it, but the 2011 gt is bad *** and pretty much destroys the camaro imo...But its our turn to make a move and i have no doubt we (GM) will throw something right back at their asses But the new camaros are overall nice cars with a nice powerful engines..It is what it is....

the 2010 is a totally different design give gm time to work the kinks out. the mustang is the same design from 99 just smoothed out and few other things. took ford some time as well to get design right. it's just bothering when these guys that own f-bodys and love them to death **** on the new camaro in its first year out and say "get a mustang" or there getting the new 5.0 because "ford got it right". now in the next year or so when chevy get's the weight down and styling right for the camaro people are going to be on the wagon again. i quess i'm old fasion and stand by a brand through ups and downs.

based on sales numbers theres not alot wrong with a camaro. GM designed it to appeal to a wider range of buyers. not just racers and so far this idea is a good one. better this than no camaro at all.
im not happy with its weight but ill live with it. its a great overall car.

You haven't ever modded an 03-4 Cobra, have you?
Unless your definition of performance has nothing to do with ET then they do not have the highest performance per dollar.
Sky the limit...
If it were me, I would go Cobra. Cheaper initial cost. I would have to swap in a stalled A4 though.
