Listen to what customers have to say about the quality of our porting work....

"Both pieces came back looking great - just as advertised. The set up runs great and I can feel a difference in throttle response. I haven't really jumped on it yet as the weather up here has been lousy and I'm still on last years gas."
Ken - WA (LS3 Intake Manifold Radical Porting & Throttle Body ported)

Default Customer Testimonial

Just received this feedback today from a recent customer.....

"Bob from Peak Speed Shop was great... he ported my FAST intake and ported my throttle body and I picked up power throughout the RPM range.... over 25 hp, and 15 ft-lbs of torque before and after on same dyno (after retune). Quick turnaround, runners were ported evenly, but not overported (still saw witness marks). All in all, fantastic and reasonably priced "
A.T. – Illinois (FAST 92 ported and Throttle Body ported– LS6)

Default Testimonial

Here is another testimonial from a happy customer:

Sent in my 102 FAST and very happy with overall turn around and port work. Bob was highly communicative, and the return was much quicker than expected. I am very happy with the work performed. Looks great!
I recommend these guys!

Are there any strength issues with the radical ported LS3 intake? It is not a race only part and can be used on a daily driven car right?

We have seen no issues with strength from the radical porting. Most customers use it in their daily drivers. However, we also have customers that use them in race applications and high pressure super charged applications.

The posts that we remove were used to help line up the three manifold pieces when they were assembled and sonic welded together. They were left in because they also helped reduce the resonance of the manifold to help cut down on engine noise.

Do Want.

I will be purchasing one of these in a few months.

What about using a TB spacer with these intakes, is there any additional gain?

We haven't seen any convincing evidence of gains with a throttle body spacer. We look forward to your order.

Here is a link that gives step by step instructions for removing your intake manifold. Most weekend mechanics can do it in about two hours.

Default Peak Speed Shop porting process

Peak Speed Shop Porting Process

Some have asked about our porting process. Peak Speed Shop uses a three step process for porting intake manifolds and throttle bodies.
First, we use a steel crosscut bur for removing most of the material in key areas and to smooth transitions and ridges for better air flow.

Second, we us sanding rolls for smoothing out the area that had material removed by the crosscut bur.

Last, we using buffing pads to polish the work.
Unlike some businesses that do porting on the side, porting intake manifolds and throttle bodies is our primary business. We have earned a good reputation for quality work and service at competitive prices.

Go to our website at http://www.peakspeedshop.com/ for more information, or call us at 719-651-1952.
