That kit is sucking some hot air in, wonder what the IAT is.
Actually the temps are completely controllable. Understand it would appear to be an issue. The case would be true if you are idling in place for a long period of time with the car running and no air movement. The air temps would begin to rise. Cruising air temps under the hood are known to be just slightly higher than ambient. For that small increase, a quality intercooler has no problem diminishing the added heat. The test vehicle that you see here in the pics has an ambient cruising air temp.
We have done testing proving that a tight radius like some have done to direct the filter away from the manifolds actual has larger decrease in power than the heat from the placement of the filter. We are not the only centrifugal to prefer a straight entry into the supercharger inlet, for this reason exactly.
Good looking setup! Just bought one of these myself last week. What size piping you running to your intercooler? Not sure if I want to go with 3.5" or 4"

I dont mean to come into your advertising thread and talk badly about your product. I have never used your supercharger, so I wouldn't know anything about them. However that statement above is only true once you reach a certain level of airflow. I understand you're trying to keep your cost down, which is great for consumers, but most people here would benefit from the lower intake temps more than those that would lose power to a curved intake filter piping.
The piping pictured below has supported 1030whp/925wtq so far, and my highest intake temp was 118 degrees during this pull (91ambient). Off of the dyno, the Intake temps are usually cooler. I do not run methanol injection.

Procharger does the same thing as TS with their air filters for the same reasons.

Yes, you're right, they do. That could be because they also like to save money.
All I'm saying (actually, proving), is that my curved intake filter piping supports enough airflow to make 1000+whp and my intake temps are about 30 degrees lower than a friends P1SC.
