Default Researching to by a '13-14 1LE!

Im in the market to buy a low milage used 1LE, but besides the body differences, I have zero idea what is different between the 2 years.

Engine wise, both have the LS3... are there any performance differences between the two years that tuning or add ons couldn't make up for?

Transmission, do they both have the TR-6060 manual, or is that only in the later 16-17 1LE?

Rear end, was the TORSEN rear end in both years?

Finally the suspension, from what I understand this is what makes the 1LE stand out from the SS, without the Z?28 price tag. Are there any differences at all between the 13 and 14 model years that I should be aware of?

I know the front and rear end are the big topics of discussion, I love the rear of the 13 but find the front of the 14 to be more attractive. If the hardware is the same between the two years, I will likely buy the best deal I can find (as long as its white with recaro seats that is).

Thanks for the help guys!

James

Mechanically all of the 5 th gen 1LEs are identical. They have a tr-6060 t6 trans and the same rear as an SS but with 3.91 ratio, not the same rear as a Z28. The Recarro seats were added as an option in 2014 so a 13 model would not come with them stock. If you go to Camaro5 they have a good list of all that is different from a standard SS model.

Awesome, thanks for the info! I tried searching the internet for the info but it was very convoluted unless it was describing the current year 1LE
