Unhappy My ZL1 made some crappy numbers on the dyno is that normal?

I brought my car to HP Logic a couple of weeks ago to have a base run done before I started any mods. They have a mustang dyno and unfortunately I can't seem to get the numbers off my mind. First off the car is a 2015 ZL1 automatic. The car pulled 374hp with 365 torque. Are those numbers accurate? If so then Chevrolet is way off with their numbers to the crank. From my experience, every car I've owned has had a maximum loss rate of 18% from crank to drive wheels. If my calculations are correct and the car does really make 580 to the crank then I'm at a 35% loss rate. If that's the case then this car is a freaking hog. I'm not happy with these numbers at all.

No those numbers are not normal, but take it to the track and see what it traps first

Possibilities
1. This is a stupid ******* troll post
2. Something wrong with dyno
3. Something wrong with car
4. You got sold a car that's not a ZL1 and if thats the case I hope you don't reproduce and spread your genes.

Awfully mean spirited but yes it is a ZL1 bought from CarMax! It was done on a Mustang Dyno. I am going to be taking the car to Lashway motorsports to see what they can tell me. While I appreciate the sentiment of "reproducing and spreading genes" don't presume to know me or how intellectual I am. I have modified lots of my cars and was just asking a question. It's good to know that there is a douchebag in our midst.

Should be 100 HP and 100 TQ more -- I know mustangs read low, but that's real low. Most set to SAE Smooth 5 on the DynoJet.

Don't get too hung up on numbers -- tracking/racing really let's you know where you're at as a baseline. I use the Dyno to let me know what 'affects' the changes I make are having -- just for context...

Thanks Don! I know all people are different just like all cars so what are the average ET's for an auto ZL1 at the track if you know. Just so I can know what I am aiming for or better.

Hi 11's with Drag Radials -- Low 12's usually on stock tires.

GM test on the ZL1:

12.5's is pretty damn good for a stock car. I'm going to take mine to Palm Beach International soon and see what she does. Thanks guys I really appreciate the insight and assistance.

Should be close to 465-470 rwhp on a Mustang dyno. Sounds like you either have bad gas or a bad dyno.

I doubt that Carmax actually put premium fuel in so you are likely dealing with crap gas and will have to do the fuse pull after a few tanks of good gas to reset the fuel trims.

Thanks for your reply. I have a few questions.
What fuse needs to be pulled? How does pulling a fuse reset for fuel? will that reset the computer as well? In other words if I tune the car will it need to be retuned after the fuse?

I have seen Mustangs read anywere up to 20% low. That would put you in the 450 hp range. Mustangs always read on the low side.

It was done a while ago but I believe it was either 3rd or 4th gear. I don't remember exactly.

When you get to PBIR you should run a mid 12 around 112-114 mph.
