Default LS7 swap into 1LE.

Thought some of you might be interested to see the results of my latest project. Swapped my LS3 for a LS7 in my 2013 Camaro SS 1LE. I'm running a 235/251 Comp Cam, Stainless Works 1 7/8" LT headers, off roads into factory NPP exhaust. I had a similar combo in my 2006 Z06, made 535 rwhp and 475 rwtq SAE on Dyno Jet. I'm running the stock LS7 intake manifold, I did mill the heads .030" for the 1LE and not using high flow cats, only major differences in the two set ups. Will be heading to Dyno today. Any guesses?

That's badass! But for the cost I personally would have just sold the 1LE and bought a Z28. Beautiful car you have though. Very nice build.

Thanks. Thought about that but I'd get around 30k or less on my trade and the Z28 equipped like I'd want (a/c and radio) runs low to mid 60's. I sold my LS3 outright and got a good deal on the LS7 so that cut cost quite a bit. I've saved about 20k, over buying a Z28, plus it's making 60-70 rwhp over a stock Z28.

This is my favorite fifth gen. I'm guessing you added nitrous judging by the dyno sheet.

Thanks, quite a compliment. There a lot of really nice 5th Gens out there. Mine is a work in progress and a daily driver, not a pristine show queen. NX 125 hp nitrous added.

If I had more money, my combo would have consisted of a 427 (just sounds right), low lash solid roller with a FAST intake, NW 102 TB, MAST cylinder heads and tuned for E85. Probably good for around 650 rwhp. Just the thought of that makes me smile.
