Having trouble with the crank bolt coming lose. Is this kit the best way to fix it for good?

Pinning the crank won't help the bolt stay in. Pinning is to keep the balancer from spinning. In fact, the bolt head covers the pin.

If your crank bolt is coming loose, you need red loctite or something similar.

Yeah thats not at all related to your problem. Are you sure the bolt is torqued properly and has good threads? I'm assuming the bolt has been taken out before correct? Even without using locktite I've never seen or heard of one just coming loose for no reason as long as it was tightened to the appropriate spec.
