I can totally see offering an additional color or two to those who buy the higher-end model- but denying certain colors to those who are paying more seems off-putting and I don't understand why.
Offering Camaro-specific colors may not make economic sense, but performance-specific colors might (Camaro, Corvette, G8, CTS-V, etc.).
