Smile Guess what I saw over the weekend.

I don't know if I need to lay off the meds or what but I saw the new Camaro SS. There's no mistaking the car it had the Camaro lettering on the fenders and the SS logo on the right rear. I was with my wife going to Del Rio Texas on HWY 277 when my wife asked me if the car behind us was the new Dodge Challenger? To my surprise it was a red SS. I mean I couldn't believe it, there not supposed to be out yet. It had dealer ship type plates and there was no mistaking the car. I slowed down just so the guys would pass me and get a good look at the rear plus to hear the car. Do you all know if they are still testing these bad boys and driving around the country?

Yes, and that is most likely exactly what you'd witnessed.

Yup, lots of test cars - and now pilot cars - out on the streets.

It's a good looking car but it did look kind of plain.

ditto.

Is that a full production car being tested instead of the prototypes?

Yes Pilot cars are usually made mainly on the production line to see how everything works together when assembled on a production line instead of by hand. They are also used to do final testing for quality and durability.
