Default Thoughts about "Camaro Black" ??

Was looking at the new HOT ROD maganize and saw the GM builds. Pretty nice builds for sure, then I came to the Camaro Black. At first I thought why a V6, but then the wheels got turning in my head. For one the engine bay is very nice and ROOMY, unlike our 4th gens. The economy is rocky and ideas started poping around. Now sure how strong the motor is, we shall find out Feb/March 09'. But why not do twins, custom fab'd of course. Love my V8's don't get me wrong. Just thinking outside the box and different!

What is everyones thought about the idea?

Thumbs up

Those V6 models are going to be a great all around drivers, might not be 'retina peeling' quick in stock trim but the potential is there for sure.

The v6 has a CR of 11.3:1, so i do not see that being to boost friendly in stock trim. I do however REALLY like the "black" version, and good thought.

Not a big fan of the Camaro Black (I dont like the ground effects package). However I do think there is alot of potential for the V6. Even in stock form its pretty rowdy thanks to 300 hp. I think the V6 is gonna shock alot of the V6 haters.

It's the best looking of the concepts GM trotted out for the show.

Bonus that it used all actual production accessories so you can make your own out of a standard V6 or SS.

I did the same thing with Holden and GM accessories with my GTO. It really transformed the look of the car into something special while still looking like it rolled out of the plant that way.

The Camaro Black looks AMAZING in person and convinced me that I want a Camaro in my garage (which I thought I'd NEVER have a Camaro, EVER!)
