Default No wheel well lip on the new Camaro?

I was fondling the new Camaros at Barrett this last weekend and was surprised that the rear wheel well lip was none existant (as in rolled back). First I though it was just because they were preproduction units, but the one they had auctioned off as Camaro #1 had the same feature. Its nice that they have no lip, but they still wont fit as wide of a tire as a 4th gen....mini tub time!

the one auctioned off at BJ wasnt the actual #1 off the production line.

it was a prepro. the guy who won gets to spec the #1 off the production line camaro exactly how he wants it

It feels really solid. The edge appears to be rolled over from the factory. I don't recall seeing this when I was at GM on any vehicle. Great for us, but still not a lot of room for a big tire.

Good point, I forgot that the winner got to spec the vehicle out the way they want.
