Sounds like he has a rank of some significance over at GM. Thats awesome though.

That is not really that fast...and the person cannot drive. But, at least it sounds really good for stock.

Ok.... in the video of the gauge cluster the car said it had 9,000 something miles.... no way it was a production car

dealerships will have then the first or second week in may. i confirmed this with the old chevy dealer i used to work for. direct from the GM... every dealership will get ONE camaro, and they DO NOT know what kind they are getting... then the mass production will start...

Yeah every dealer should have a 1LT V6 by May 1st. The first sold orders will be at the dealers around the last week in March, or the 1st week in April.

Do you think they can afford to "scrap" test vechicles right now in GM? Probably not ones that are more or less finished design wise. I'm sure many will end up in GM's basement and be kept for years under a blanket.

Those two were probably given to the project managers (aka Mr. 3). It is in Rochester Hills, which is a wealthier metro-Detroit city. I don't doubt they are someone bigger in GM.

Plus two people driving Camaro's around helps advertise! And what a better place to advertise than Rochester Hills!

It says in one of his post that Mrs. 3(the wife), is/was the Corvette project manager for some time... So who knows what Mr. 3 does.

Production actually started sometime last Nov. for the test fleet.Regular production starts next Monday, March 16th.

i dont know if i like that color red yet. I might go with black with black rims. my 69 SS and my WS6 are both red... but i just dunno

I dont like that red much, the red jewel color is much better IMO
