SILVER LS4, you're wrong about track prep. Tracks use traction compounds in the launching area to help the tires stick. I know my hometown track either doesn't do this on test-in-tune nights (street nights) or they do and it wears out by the time me and my friends get our runs in, lol. All we have at IRP is waterbox to heat the tires. So bring your dr's or be ready to be disappointed. I really think they don't want the street cars to hook good for some reason. Maybe too many broken cars.

Yeaaah, the "no such thing as poor track prep" was kinda sarcastic on my part being that my Trailblazer SS is all wheel drive and doesn't have any traction issues, ever, at least at the power level it has.

Silverls4, my bad man. I meant to edit my post after I re-read it, but it was late and I was heading out for vacation.

Anyway, I saw a new 5th gen in person here at a SoCal dealership, and it was a V6. The salesman said GM wasn't producing SS's for another 6-12 months, lol. I'm still waiting to see a SS or run into one here in SD.

I dont think he/she did too bad (lol) if it was their first time in the car...slept at the light for sure though. He needs some practice and some better rims and tires (traction #1 reason I dont like big rims on a car), GMMG exhaust, CAI, tune.

A good driver in the Camaro will definitely do her some justice, i feel bad for the cars sometimes because of the people who drive them not touching there potential, if cars could talk.

Ive seen many Challenger SRTs trap 108-110 bone stock.
And I believe the LS3 Camaro should trap 112-115 bone stock considering the LS3 C6s have trapped 120 stock.
I think both of them bone stock on DRs should easily run mid 12s according to their trap speeds.
