Exclamation First 2010 Camaro product recall!! Potential electrical issue.

GM bulletin : http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21543

If anyone here already has their V8 Camaros make sure to read the bulletin and get your car back to a dealer asap. There's a potential risk of your starter shorting out and you being left with no electrical power at all.

Guess the car is going through first run / first year problems. GM seems to be addressing it openly and quicly tho.

It's good that this one came out right away instead of 6 months later into production.

This product recall was just announced by GM this morning. But yea that person experienced I guess what the issue here is.

Just want to make any 5th gen owners here aware that there's now an official GM product recall for their cars.

Atleast they are getting on it and fixing the issue now instead of waiting a while.

Thats funny to me because when the guy posted that this happend to a chick and her camaro, people were bashing the hell out of him and saying that he hated GM and it was only a one time thing and it was the girl who caused it somehow. But atleast they caught it early before someone got hurt.

I think the response was more of a knee jerk reaction towards all of the Import trolls that have been spewing thier anti GM rheteric here.

Nah not really so far there's been praise for GM for addressing it so quickly and proactively.

Thats actually really good that they are fixing it right away. not many out on the roads yet that will need the fix. the rest can be corrected in factory
