Speed Inc. 2010 Camaro SS baseline track results
I took our 2010 RS SS to Great Lakes Dragaway tonight to make some runs.
With the exception of being dyno tuned it is otherwise completely stock.
I never did get a great launch but this was the best run-
60ft 2.104
330 5.564
1000 10.87
1/4 12.937
1/4 mph 109.50
This was slipping the clutch out at around 3500rpm. Too aggressive and it was either spin or wheel hop so that is the best I could manage.
Still, I'm happy with the results

Come on, you couldn't leave the tune stock? Cheater
You don't like having the throttle close to 27% during powershifts? You don't like mega-bog in 1st gear? That is the FUN part!
I'm going to the track tonight in my 100% stock SS. Next week we'll do headers/intake/tune.

says about 1000ft
We went back to make another run after the .93, but someone lost a motor. We decided not to stay the night.
I am taking it back out Sunday, but can not promise better results since Jim can drive

weight of car with 3/4 tank of fuel was 3660 empty which we are going to double check with scales in shop
took it to the track again Sunday, but traction was 0 so I had to slip the clutch at 2000ish and practically bog the car
tire spin then in the top of first, power shift second and it took some driving and even 3rd it would scoot around
best was 13.3@109.46
great MPH for far worse weather
1st track visit 50's and 800 ft. Thur.
2nd track visit 80 and 2100 ft Sunday

What? I've had 2 LT1 f-bodies and 3 LS1 f-bodies, all were modified and tuned and I never had any problems powershifting them. Actually back in the day about 9 years ago when I bought my first LS1, Tony(Nineball) and I would run out at HRP hot lapping our cars and making well over 10 runs a piece per visit to the track.
